From a series shot at night in the centre of Manchester. This part of the project was shot in April 2016. Using 35mm film and a 1980s point-and-shoot zoom camera, the nighttime cityscape is reconstructed with muted colours, deep shadows and flashes of brilliant light. In this image the effect is amplified by the use of multiple-exposure...the effect is created entirely in the camera and on the film, not digitally manipulated. Limited edition of 10 prints across all sizes and finishes (plus two artist's proofs). Each print is individually hand-signed and numbered.

The photograph is professionally lab-printed onto archival photo paper, then mounted and sealed on a 3 layer aluminium substrate (for superb stability and warp-resistance). Unmounted C-Type prints are produced using a traditional photochemical process, with true photographic paper exposed from the digital scan and then developed. The gallery-quality archival paper used is selected by me as appropriate to the particular photograph from papers manufactured by Fuji, Kodak and Ilford. Unmounted prints come with a wide border for easy mounting and framing.

Please be aware that quality of this kind takes a little time. Turnaround times vary from 7 business days for unmounted prints to 10 business days on average for aluminium mounting, after which I take delivery of the work for inspection before shipping to you. Guaranteed to be worth the wait!
