I found this green branch of Mahonia cut off on the street in March. I was amazed at how strong this plant was; in the cold and bad weather, it still looked green and alive despite everything. It stood in a vase for a long time, bringing me joy, so I couldn’t help but paint it. For me, this plant became a symbol of the Ukrainian people, who remain strong despite all the difficulties. This painting also took part in the "Invisible Gardens" exhibition held in Kyiv at the Shevchenko Museum.
My work is a unique and original handmade piece.
It is painted on high-quality, 100% cotton paper specially made for watercolor by the world’s best manufacturers, with a density of 300 grams per square meter. I also use the finest professional paints in my work.
