I was inspired to do this art by the rendition of a Buryl Red song called, "Song of Mary", sung by Cynthia Clawson, text by Ragan Courtney. The Virgin Mary has just received word that she would give birth to the Son of God, and she sings, "My soul magnifies the Lord", as she contemplates the upcoming event.
