Original artwork description:

I arrived in Santiago De Compostela. I had walked and thought for many days, it is never about the destination it is the journey where everything changes. The answers we seek are changed by the very Questions. I could not help notice a man who had no home and carried with him all he owned. He was finding a comfortable position with his dog as hundreds of the spiritual community passed with there bright shinny screens leading the way, many of them religious and proud catholics. None noticing the man or sharing with him, a word of kindness. I wondered then, in this deeply religious setting, if a man named Jesus came and walked amongst us none would notice. I thought if you can walk miles on a pilgrimage and not notice the poor man on the street we have learned nothing. For a moment I captured the man with the magnificent Santiago Cathedral as a backdrop, it touched me in a profound way as I worked with a power whispering in my soul to bring this painting to life. Painted with fine Rembrandt Oils on fine Italian Linen Canvas.
