Original artwork description
Some of my favorite paintings begin with a memory.
Inspired by the vibrant floral carpet in my grandparents' playroom, this piece recalls the endless afternoons I spent there as a child. In my imagination, it wasn't just a carpet—it was a magic carpet.
Today, those same turquoise and terracotta hues have found their way into this painting, celebrating the sense of wonder that childhood leaves with us forever.
14×14 in size, and painted on canvas in acrylic, ink, and collage. Varnished with an archival satin finish, and ready to hang right out of her box, with the appropriate hardware already attached. Painting is carried over onto the sides of the canvas, so framing is optional, but not necessary. Signed, numbered and dated on the back.
