This print is my memory of a significant day; my family and I enjoyed mackerel from a fisherman’s hut for lunch and spent the afternoon flying a kite. For me, the simplicity of the day highlights the joy found in moments that connect us all to nature and each other. The mackerel sky is a bit of artist license.
