This painting was painted from life. I was fortunate to visit a unique corner of nature. On the west coast of Sweden lies the small, cozy town of Lysekil. This place inspired my watercolor. I was captivated by the unusual reddish color of the rocks in this area, the graceful masts of the yachts, and the small red houses typical of Sweden.
