I don’t paint artworks…
In fact, I feel that I rather tell stories; mine, yours… and these stories are triggered by a remote memory, from an old rediscovered book, an obsessive tune, a poem or a game that belongs to childhood.
This painting, full of nostalgia, uses the image of the sailors and fishers wives waiting at the port, as a poetic metaphor of all those who wait for the return of their loved ones.
