Original artwork description
This painting is an original Pastel painting “Luminous Magnolia Grandiflora”. This pastel painting was created based on a photo I took in Astoria, New York. I grew up with a Magnolia Tree in front of my house. I also use to have a magnolia tree in front of my house in Astoria years ago. I liked the softness of the background and how it blended with the front magnolia flower. The colors and how they played off each other.
Images showing it framed are just a suggestion on what to do when you receive my art and is for presentation purposes. Colors may vary slightly on different monitors.
This painting is unframed. One of a kind pastel painting handmade (not a print) original, colorful and detailed. I spent weeks perfecting details and textures.

I used a mixture of soft and hard pastels (mostly soft), and pastel pencils on a toned grey Strathmore charcoal paper.
