This painting began with a burst of light—an intense moment where energy expands outward and transforms everything around it.

I built the composition from the center, allowing the movement to radiate across the canvas. Soft pink tones dissolve into white and pale grey, while deeper black and earthy brown elements create contrast and grounding. Subtle ochre and gold accents catch the light, adding warmth and a delicate glow that shifts throughout the day.

Working with acrylic, I layered the surface using both brush and palette knife. Some areas are smooth and diffused, while others carry texture—paint built up, broken, and revealed again. This creates a dynamic surface that changes depending on the angle of light and distance.

What I love most about this piece is its sense of expansion. The central light feels like a turning point—where darkness and brightness meet and transform into something new. It brings both energy and calm into the space.

The palette—soft pink, white, grey, black, earthy brown, ochre, and gold—makes this painting versatile yet expressive. It works beautifully in modern interiors, adding light, depth, and a refined focal point.

At 80 × 80 cm, the square format enhances the intensity of the composition, making it ideal as a statement piece above a sofa, console, or in a dining space.
