Original artwork description
I took a boat tour along Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore to see the colorful rock formations and shoreline. The sandstone formations are beautifully colored from water and minerals seeping out of the cracks and trickling down the rocks into Lake Superior. Lover's Leap is a natural arch that was just starting to get hit with some sunlight as our tour boat passed by. The sunlight warmed the rocks to show even more beautiful colors!
This original oil painting was created using professional paint on gallery-wrapped canvas. The painting concept is continued to the side borders of the canvas, so a frame is not necessary to display the completed painting. This painting has been sealed with a protective varnish layer and it is ready to hang when you receive it. A certificate of authenticity is included with each original painting by Steph Moraca.
