Annotation to this new series:
I lived with my family for 6 years from 2009 - 2015 on our boat at sea. During this time we sailed 35,000 nm (approx. 55,000 km) from Europe to Australia. We had a decisive experience on our Pacific crossing: In the middle of the night we were able to observe a fishing fleet consisting of three ships on the radar, which dragged a incredible arge net with them. Ultimately, we had to start the engines to escape this gigantic net. Until today I‘m still appalled by the incredible size of the net.
I'm a fulltime freelance artist since 2003, you can find my work in galleries (London, Madrid, Melbourne), exhibitions, art fairs and in collections all over the world.
