Original artwork description
Thank you so much for your interest in my art.
To help you quickly find the pieces you’re drawn to — from blue abstracts to typography — here’s a tip that might be useful:
I’ve curated my pieces into themed collections which you‘ll find on the left under my Shop section.
„I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, I think it's because we all came from the sea. And it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea - whether it is to sail or to watch it - we are going back from whence we came. I want to toast tonight the crew, the sailors, those who have, for a hundred years, defended this cup from the New York Yacht Club, to all of them.“
President John F. Kennedy

Annotation to this new series:
During my 6-year circumnavigation of the world, I have often come into contact with the increasing pollution and overfishing of the seas. In the middle of the Pacific I watched fishing fleets that were pulling 50 km!! wide nets with them. Garbage from civilization accumulates on deserted islands.
