The title of the painting "Lost in People" itself stimulates philosophical reflection and contemplation on the complexity of interpersonal relationships and human interaction. This painting embodies the complex dynamics that arise from the mixing of trust and distrust, illustrating how people intertwined with each other can lose their individuality and become entangled in this common essence.

At first glance, it may seem that the painting depicts a messy tangle of intertwined people that is impossible to untangle. This may indicate a lack of trust between people, a sense of being lost and uncertain about others. Each person is forced to be cautious and see others as a potential threat. This can lead to psychological entanglement, when even those who strive to be themselves are lost in the mass of people, afraid to open up and reveal their vulnerability.

But the intertwining of people can be seen as a symbol of their interconnectedness and interdependence. It embodies the deep desire of humanity to be part of something bigger, the desire to communicate, interact and understand each other. This interaction can be challenging, but at the same time extremely valuable and profound, as it provides an opportunity to develop, learn and grow.

My painting watercolor on cotton paper, using mainly palette brush and watercolor paints.

Watercolors give this work a special lightness and airiness. I like paint with watercolors using the ala prima technique, using the effects of splatter, transparency and color saturation.
