Circular shapes that seem to move in a spiral - almost like glass being blown.
The orange could be the heat of the molten liquid.
This is an offset monotype with screenprint.
It has been hand inked and printed for each colour using a many templates for the blues and cut stencils for the coloured shapes.
I really enjoy working in this method as each one has a slightly organic texture from pulling off the shapes.
This small piece could stand on the mantle or hang in the hall
Materials used:
etching and screen printing inks on Zerkall printmaking paper
