This painting evokes memories of walking through the giant pine trees near to where I live. I have worked in layers over 3 or 4 days building up texture to create the atmosphere that I was after. I like the energetic mark making of this painting. It's oil, cold wax and linseed oil on a box canvas with painted Paynes grey edges. It's ready to hang.
