An imagined landscape clearly inspired by some of my skandinavian travels - remembered places overlap with dreams here - it's a place filled with nature, untouched by man; place of rwonder and meditation.
Small oil study on primed mdf wood panel - the work was initially meant as a study for a bigger painting, however it turned out to be an accomplished piece in itself - curious how it's often the case in landscape painting that smaller, loose alla prima paintings even sometimes outgrow polished studio rendering - look at some Constable or Daubigny plein air sketches for example.
