Original artwork description
Another of my Brighton Seafront paintings that reflect my interest in finding bold colour in the urban environment. This came from a morning walk along Brighton seafront, the city in the UK where I live. I liked the hopeful but slightly sad face of the children's ride of Thomas The Tank Engine as it peers round the entrance, other attractions in the background ready to come out as the Summer Season gets going.

oil on MDF gessoed on all sides
