Original artwork description:

Whitehall is one of London's most majestic and important streets. I wanted to paint this street at night when all the lights seem to take on an architecture of their own. The beautiful lions of Trafalgar Square help place you and the colours of the buildings are totally different under street light.
This painting is framed in a very dark grey bespoke frame which brings out the evening atmosphere I was trying to create here.

Materials used:

Oil paint on linen canvas
