Original artwork description:

An acrylic painting painted plein-air of a view on Longrun Meadow, Taunton, Somerset. I spend time sitting looking at these small groups of trees, drawing and painting them. These are some small paintings created of the view, looking at the moving colour, as the sunlight shifts over time.

I am drawn to the shifting tones of colour, and the shift from a white/ blue light to a yellow/ orange light as I watch the light change from between the hours of 3pm - 9pm, during the month of July & August.
