“Longing” **reserved for NT** (2020)Acrylic painting by Hanna Bell

This painting is one of my more recent abstract acrylic paintings that I chose to recycle; an old figurative painting that was unfinished. It was created at a time when I enjoyed painting space and context around nudes. I used these elements to provide a context and contrast for the abstract elements in the final painting. I worked to build the contrast between the warm cosy yellow hues In the background and the cooler darker anonymous shapes in the foreground.

I am passionate about colour and spend a lot of time mixing colours that are complementary to create balance and harmony in my paintings.

This painting will be shipped on the stretcher securely in a reinforced envelope of polycarbonate sheeting. Please message me to arrange shipping off of the stretcher in a tube ready for framing. All shipping prices are estimated but rest assured that any overpayment charged will be refunded back to the customer once the painting has been shipped.
