LONELINESS, in the style of Raymond Pettibon, combines text and image to create a powerful narrative about loneliness, intimacy, and the humanization of technology.
At the top are the factual details “NY, 2:17 am” and “Elijah speaks to his operating system...” depicting a nocturnal urban scene. In the center appears the portrait-like face of a man, recognizable as a modern city dweller by the AirPod in his ear.
The dialogue between Elijah and the AI reveals a complex relationship: Elijah begins with a personal confession: “You are my first thought each morning ...”.
