A group of Londoners sit on some astroturf on steps, by the canal, at Kings Cross. It was for me a fairwell, as I had already decided to move to France. A hot summer tinged with sadness and excitement. The figures are not connected other than by chance. The work, based on photography, is painted in acrylic and radiates heat. The canvas is on a 0.4 inch deep and can therefore hang without framing if wished.
