Original artwork description
I get a bit excited about certain subjects and attempt many versions of the same scene, so... here is yet another version of the London Skyline. I wanted a change from pure watercolour so went back to the ink and bamboo pen. I have rearranged the skyline to suit my composition, so Londoners, if it looks odd, that's why. London looks best when it has a dark sky above, and a stripe of bright backlight behind it. Sepia ink, hand-carved bamboo pen and watercolour washes.
