The Trellick Tower stands tall above West London, a homecoming marker. This photo was taken from the top. Up there, London lies spread out below; familiar places take on a different form and the interrelationships between different parts of the city become apparent. New patterns emerge, too. The first time I went up, I was struck by the sea of roofs and their chimneys and imagined a time when each house would have coal fires burning day and night. No wonder this place was named the Big Smoke.
Limited edition (25) digital Giclée print on archival paper.
Please let me know if you would like this artwork printed to a different size, or framed. Shipping framed prints outside the UK is expensive, though; I'm happy to do it but it can be better value for you to get it framed at your end.
