London comes alive in the evening light — between cool shades of sky, deep blues and violets, and the glowing golden and orange reflections of the city.

In this painting, I did not aim to reproduce the London skyline literally. Instead, I wanted to capture the feeling of the city — its rhythm, energy, movement, and the unique atmosphere of evening. Big Ben becomes the central visual accent, while the surrounding architecture seems to dissolve into flowing layers of colour and light.

Expressive brushstrokes and richly textured palette-knife marks create a lively, almost musical surface. Cool blues, violets, and turquoise tones contrast with the warm glow of the city lights, capturing the moment when day gradually gives way to night.

This is not simply a painting of London, but an emotional impression of a city that never seems to stop moving.
