(This artwork is sold, a new version will be available soon in November, please send me a note if interested. )
This is artwork is part of this series and it is a diptych, made up of two 50 x 60 cm canvases which can be placed together or leaving a space between them, both left and right edges of Both panels are also painted, all top and bottom edges are painted in deep black.
This artwork is created with endless straight sharp lines using a pattern & rhythm which results in a contrast between very thin lines about 1mm to 4mm wide, these colours vibrate against each other creating depth and movement. Each line of every colour and thickness is painted one at a time across the canvas, allowing it to dry before painting the next one ,this process is repeated over and over over until it is just right.
This artwork changes with different light falling into it and the angle and distance at which is viewed can change the feel of it and can vibrate at times.
Coated with protective varnish.
100 x 60 cm aprox.
Ready to hang and signed on the back.
