A set of 2 original paintings framed and ready to hang.

These are from a series of works that I did while staying for 10 days on the Hebridean island of Lewis.
Although the heather was just about over, there was an abundance of beautiful colours showing across the hills - from blues in the distance to the oranges and ochres of the grasses at the shoreline of the loch.
Bright sunny days added to the magic of the island.

The paintings are framed in a contemporary style called St Ives, after the famous group of artists who settled in that part of Cornwall in the mid 20th century.
The white painted wood offsets the colours in the artworks.

The paintings are shipped together wrapped in several protective layers before being placed in a sturdy cardboard box.
I always send my paintings by tracked courier for extra security.
The artworks are accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist.
