Description:
Listen was created in a moment of openness — where color, movement, and silence met on the canvas. I was drawn to the vivid pinks and warm ochres against the grounding grays and blacks, letting them unfold into shapes that feel both playful and contemplative. The vertical black lines came almost as whispers, marks that reminded me to pause and pay attention.
This piece is part of my Of & Being series, which explores the ways presence, memory, and emotion surface through abstraction. With every brushstroke, I try to follow intuition more than control, allowing the painting to reveal what it needs to say. For me, Listen is a reminder of the quiet voices we often overlook — the ones inside us, and the ones carried by the world around us.
