Original artwork description
Inspired by the biblical story of Daniel in the lions’ den, this artwork explores the themes of trust, faith and finding peace in uncertain situations.
Rather than directly depicting Daniel, I wanted to capture the feeling behind the story. The idea of trusting God even when faced with something that may seem frightening or beyond our control. The connection between the human figure and the lion represents peace, trust and protection where we might otherwise expect fear.
