Artwork description
‘Twisted Magnolia’, is a linocut printed using the reduction technique: multiple layers of colour are each cut and printed from the same block. Once the print is finished, and so much has been cut away for each layer, the block can have very little surface remaining. Reduction prints are by their nature limited editions, and this is an edition of ten prints.
