Original artwork description:

A traumatic experience of waking up with a scorpion on me, combined with thoughts about sexuality, taboos, words I heard from my family about the incident, that the scorpion was a sign of the devil, similarities between the shape of a scorpion and that of the female reproductive system, the idea of a sting around the area, information about places scorpions prefer, etc.
The way I think is often very chaotic. I try to clear the mess by creating an image for that chaos. It would be a lie to claim that I sort anything out, but all the same I believe truth lies in complicated situations which cannot always be expressed in spoken words.

Materials used:

pencil, ink
