Sculpture on hand-worked leccese stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra.
The "Vital Sap" sculpture celebrates the connection between the energy of nature and the beauty of life. It represents the vital essence that nourishes and sustains us, inviting us to recognize the importance of this relationship.
The work of this work is entirely made by hand on this stone that is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, that is in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back to about twenty million years ago (such as shells, marine plants and shark teeth), makes it suitable for the processing of details. The fossils are visible on the surface of the work and make it even more unique and fascinating.
The sculpture "Linfa Vitale", like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-carved, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
