Lines of Our Intersections
Series: Forms of Inner Balance
Acrylic and oil pastel on canvas, 90 × 90 cm
Unstretched

Concept
Blue Lines of Our Intersections explores the quiet, often invisible moments where two inner worlds meet. The work reflects relationships not as fixed forms, but as a process of intersecting paths — emotional, mental, and experiential. Each blue line becomes a trace of connection: a shared moment, a resonance, a mutual influence.

These intersections do not erase individuality. Instead, they create a shared space where two stories coexist, overlap, and gently shape one another. The painting speaks about closeness built through presence, attention, and time — about balance found not in sameness, but in connection.

The composition unfolds through intersecting planes and flowing blue lines that move across the surface like currents. Transparent layers overlap, creating depth and a sense of quiet dialogue. The lines act as points of contact, linking forms without enclosing them, allowing space and air to remain.

The overall impression is calm, intimate, and contemplative.

Color Palette
The palette is centered around layered shades of blue — soft sky blue, muted cerulean, deep ultramarine, and indigo — balanced with warm off-whites, light gray, sand, and subtle graphite accents. The transparent application of color creates a feeling of light, openness, and emotional clarity.

Technique and Methods
The work is created using mixed media on canvas, combining acrylic and oil pastel. Acrylic layers form fluid, translucent color fields, while oil pastel defines the linear intersections — traces of connection and shared experience.

Techniques include layered painting, transparent glazing, fine linear drawing, and a balance between intuitive gesture and thoughtful composition.
