'Limberness' : having a supple and resilient quality (as of mind or body) : agile, nimble. : capable of being shaped : flexible.
This big flower painting features three blooming 'La Belle Epoque' Tulips, opening their petals on a warm Spring day. Their warm tones of amber, gold, magenta & burnt orange create a comforting & joyful atmosphere & create a stunning focal point to a room.
whilst painting ny thoughts centered around how in life we become attached to ways of doing things, beliefs, we think are strengths & use to plough through life. We become so enmeshed that we feel it’s the only way of doing things.
But being limber, learning to bend with the wind, to flex when pushed by pressure rather than breaking can open up new worlds of possibility.
We like to be in control of how we work, play, manage relationships but there is always a price to pay, a cost to following habits & beliefs too stubbornly. Costs on our health, effects on our wellbeing.
Learning to be limber, to bend & adapt, to do things in new ways. Letting go of all that control can be freeing. Taking a moment to really see what is best for you can have huge rewards.
