Dreamy and transportative, this large oil painting allows you to drift off to calm waters.
Delicately layered lily pads float over abstract depths of lake water. The bank beyond is loosly hinted at, towards the top of the artwork. The subtle greens, yellows and pinks of the lilys combine with the cool greens and blues of the water to create a calming scene.
Inspired by photographs and sketches made whilst rowing in a small boat amongst the lilies.
Painted in oil on a stretched canvas.
Strung and ready to hang.
Signed on the rear and Certificate of Authenticity provided.
