There’s a hush that settles around noon.

Not silence — but warmth. A golden slowness. A kind of shimmering pause. That’s what I tried to capture in “Lily Pond. Warm Midday.”

I didn't want the lilies to be exact. I wanted them to feel like a trace of sun on water, like color breathing.

Painting this felt like holding stillness in motion — the brush knew where to rest.
