After spending an afternoon at a winery along the coast of California we took a private tour given by a member of my family. The final place we viewed was the natural lily pond at the top of the hill. The grasses in the background were the perfect backdrop for this painting. The sun is lower on the horizon casting light and reflecting off the pond.
