This expressive acrylic painting brings together a lush bouquet of lilac, fresh green leaves, and a turquoise cup in a luminous spring palette of lavender, violet, turquoise, pink, and soft blue.
The abundant flowers and freely painted leaves create a feeling of movement and freshness, while the cup and saucer introduce a quiet domestic moment.

Before painting the picture with acrylic paints, I applied a layer of texture paste to the canvas. I applied it unevenly and randomly. This technique added expressiveness to the painting.
Richly layered acrylic paint gives the surface a lively, tactile quality and allows the colours to glow against the cool background.
The painting is inspired by the fleeting beauty of spring — the fragrance of freshly blooming lilac, sunlight, and those small everyday moments that become treasured memories.
