My work features many flowers – roses, lilies of the valley, poppies... But every spring I'm enchanted by the blooming lilacs!
So much fragrance, so much delicacy, so much lilac dreaminess!I created an image depicting a meticulously drawn bouquet of lilacs. Using a rich palette of lilac shades, I aimed to convey the sensory perception of the flowers' aroma and their изысканная aesthetic appeal. To achieve the intricate details and depth of color characteristic of this technique, I used oil paints on a high-quality, densely textured canvas. This work was created based on direct observation of nature, allowing me to capture the nuances of beauty and the ephemeral qualities of each individual flower in the bouquet. The composition demonstrates a deep understanding of botanical morphology and color theory, as well as mastery of the technical aspects of oil painting.
