This was quite a complicated painting to complete with all the different elements. The painting is a lively contemporary depiction of an old country scene in spring. The bees are buzzing and collection nectar from the fragrant lilac and bluebells and the ancient gnarled lilac trees cast their shadows and mystery.

Signed on the front and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The painting continues around the edges to provide a contemporary unframed look.
