From a project, Defence of The Realm, documenting WW2 invasion defences in the South East of the UK. Monuments to a time when the nation was preparing to make a last stand against the might of the Third Reich, and now sadly falling into disrepair.

This is a pillbox at Rye Golf Club in East Sussex, and has sweeping views and field of fire across Camber Sands - a possible invasion point - and Romney Marsh.
