Original artwork description
I painted this sunflower using a limited pallet of six colors. The sunflower represents the lightness and joy of sunshine. I chose a neutral background of grays to represent a dark winter sky in the hopes and dreams of spring to come. A simple blue glass vase in the corner of this piece is offset to balance the focus taking the eye to the sunflower.
Materials used:
Professional premium paints on canvas stretched on kiln dried wooden frame. Sides are wrapped continuing the painting, which can either be hung or framed.
