- Lifeguards at Dusk
Artwork description
I've always tried to live within easy reach of a sea or ocean. There is something about walking on a beach - the sand beneath my feet that I find restorative and inspiring. This is from my ongoing series 'Son of a Beach', started in 2015 with an exhibition in Majorda, Goa and currently unfinished. This of lifeguards on Majorda beach, keeping an eye out for swimmers in distress. There's a sharp rip current which can catch people unawares.
Materials used:
Epson fine art inks on Hahnemule 308gsm art paper with matt finish.
Details:
- Photograph on Paper
- From a limited edition of 5
- Size: 91.44 x 60.96 x 0.25cm (unframed) / 86.36 x 55.88cm (actual image size)
- Signed and numbered on the front
- Style: Photorealistic
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
