Original artwork description:

This painting is based on my plein air studies in a small town of Marshall on Tomales Bay.
Tomales Bay is a long narrow inlet of the Pacific Ocean in Marin County in northern California, separating the Point Reyes Peninsular from the mainland. For many folks who come and visit the Point Reyes area, Tomales Bay is a near-perfect retreat: quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I love visiting and painting these small quaint towns along Tomales Bay. Barely 40 miles from San Francisco, they offer tranquility, open spaces, beautiful scenery, dotted with coves, beaches, and caves, and backed by eucalyptus and pine forests.
Materials used to create this artwork:
Oil on oil-primed Claessens Belgian linen on 1/8 MDF archival art panel, the back of the panel finished with melamine that prevents warping and deterioration. Painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish.

This painting is unframed and requires a frame to hang. It will easily fit into a standard (US) 16”x20” frame. Images of framed artwork in home interiors are for presentation purposes only. Frame is not included.

Kindly note that not all in-context (in a room) pictures provide a true sense of scale of artwork. Please refer to listing size.
