Abstracted impressionist landscape painting. This painting was inspired by the huge skies and distant horizons of Exmoor National Park. I wanted to capture the experience of looking out over the moor, exposed to the elements and enjoying the sense of space and freedom. Life is out there...what will you find? Painted in oil, largely with a palette knife, this piece is full of glorious colours and textures.
