Let It Begin Again is a quiet clearing—a space where something long held dissolves, and something newly forming gently takes its place. Part of my The Breath of Memory series, this piece leans into subtle shifts of tone and texture, where muted greys, soft ochres, and pale warmth blur into one another like early morning air.

The surface is layered but unhurried. Scratched vertical marks rise and fall like faint recollections surfacing, while the single dark form near the horizon anchors the composition with a sense of grounding. The painting feels like a pause between breaths—a moment where release and renewal touch.

It is a work about beginnings that don’t announce themselves loudly. About the quiet courage in allowing yourself to start again.

In The Breath of Memory, I explore how memory lives inside the body—how it settles, drifts, returns, and ultimately transforms. These paintings are built through restrained palettes, soft transitions, and intuitive marks that echo the way memory moves with breath and time.
