The village of les Baux de Provence located near the Alpilles range s listed as one of the most beautiful villahes in France. This oil was painted on a linen canvas using watercolours the artist had madein-situ as studies. He chose a place at the foot of the castle, overlooking the village of Les Baux de Provence. There he had a good view of the roofs and church, of the valley beyond the village and the chalky hills on the other side of this valley. The watercolors were made in winter because the place is too crowded in other seasons. This oil is ready to hang. The photo with the frame is for reference only but framing is possible on request.
