Original artwork description
A still life with lemons in a green bowl. The colours are striking with viridian green, lemon yellows and blues. I am influenced by Van Gogh and these colours and style of painting for a Still life painting reflect this. I set up this still life as I was interested in the contrast between the yellow of the lemons and the greens of the apples.
The painting is oil on canvas and has a dark wooden frame ready to hang. It is a vibrant and contemporary colourful work.
