Original artwork description:

This painting is from my recent series of Lemons Paintings titled “When Life gives you Lemons”. I created a series of 30 still life paintings with a bunch of pink flowers and some lemons, exploring different lighting conditions.

I used a dim light source to create a lot of drama in the shadows. The thick expressive brushwork adds to the drama and gives a three dimensional quality to the painting. The painting comes with a modern gray wooden frame, ready to hang. I have chosen a simple frame that keeps the focus on the artwork. However, if you’d prefer to frame it yourself, please let me know and I will ship it unframed.
